CDP participated in the Policy and Institutional Review Workshop organized on 4 June 2026 in Ankara as part of the Biodiversity Finance Initiative (BIOFIN), implemented by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP). The workshop brought together representatives from the public sector, private sector, and civil society to contribute to the development of Türkiye’s National Biodiversity Finance Plan.
CDP Türkiye Country Manager Mirhan Köroğlu Göğüş, contributed to discussions on the role of the private sector in achieving biodiversity targets and the importance of environmental disclosure in supporting sustainable finance.
The workshop addressed topics including biodiversity finance, green finance instruments, and nature-related risk disclosures. The outcomes of the event are expected to contribute to the identification of priority policy and implementation areas within the framework of Türkiye’s National Biodiversity Finance Plan.
