As a follow-up to the "Corporate Sustainability Practices and Leaders of Tomorrow Panel" event organized in May with the financial support of the Australian Embassy by the Sabancı University Corporate Governance Forum, which also hosts CDP Türkiye, a workshop titled "The Future of Sustainability in the Context of a Just Transition: Climate and Women’s Studies" was held on Tuesday, October 22.

The workshop, which began with an opening speech by Ata Can Bertay, Director of the Sabancı University Corporate Governance Forum, and was moderated by Mirhan Köroğlu Göğüş, Director of CDP Türkiye, brought together representatives from civil society, academia, and the private sector. Focusing on the intersection of climate change and gender equality, the event marked initial steps toward developing project ideas that could emerge from synergies in these areas. Participants discussed the critical role of gender diversity and inclusive practices within the framework of a "Just Transition" for corporate climate resilience and sustainability. Drawing on the expertise and diverse perspectives of the participants, the workshop provided a platform for sharing ideas across finance, supply chains, governance, and data. It aims to establish a cross-sectoral network for future sustainability initiatives.
