CDP 2025 Scoring Results and A List Announced
In 2025, more than 22,000 companies reported their environmental data through CDP. With the participation of companies representing over half of global market capitalization, corporate environmental reporting once again reached a record level.
In the same year, 640 investors with total assets exceeding USD 127 trillion requested the disclosure of data on environmental impacts, risks, and opportunities through CDP. This strong demand from financial markets revealed that transparent and comparable environmental data are becoming increasingly critical for investment decisions.
Global A List and Triple A Leadership
According to the 2025 CDP scoring results, 877 companies globally succeeded in being included in the Global A List. This number corresponds to only 4% of the companies assessed. Companies included in the A List are defined by CDP as global leaders that transparently report their environmental impacts, effectively manage risks, and take concrete actions to reduce negative impacts.
Among these companies, 23 achieved “Triple A” status by receiving an A score across all three programs: Climate Change, Water Security, and Forests. An “A” score indicates not only comprehensive reporting, but also the establishment of strong environmental governance structures and progress in environmental resilience.
Record Achievement from Türkiye on the Global A List
Türkiye stood out among leading countries in environmental leadership at both the corporate and local government levels in the 2025 CDP results. This year, with 44 companies from Türkiye included in the Global A List, the number of Turkish companies on the A List reached its highest level to date.
The fact that 12% of the companies evaluated in Türkiye were included in the Global A List placed Türkiye among the highest-performing countries in this field, alongside Japan and France. When examined on a program basis, the 2025 results revealed Türkiye’s multidimensional environmental performance. Accordingly, 36 companies were included in the Global A List under the Climate Change Program, 29 companies under the Water Security Program, and 6 companies under the Forests Program.
Meanwhile, the fact that 5 of the 23 “Triple A” companies that received an A score in all three areas—Climate Change, Water Security, and Forests—are from Türkiye confirms the country’s strong position in integrated environmental governance. In addition, many companies being included in both the Climate Change and Water Security A Lists demonstrates that companies are addressing environmental risks through a holistic approach.
Türkiye also attracted attention at the local government level in the CDP 2025 results. The Municipalities of Ankara and Istanbul received an A score under CDP’s Cities A List, ranking among cities globally recognized for climate risk management, transparent data disclosure, and the development of concrete action plans.
Awards will be presented to CDP leaders during the CDP Türkiye Conference and Awards Ceremony, which will be held on 22 May 2026.
