Hasan Özçelik, President of the Public Oversight, Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority (KGK), visited Sabancı University on 22 December 2025. The meeting held as part of the visit brought together Prof. Dr. Ayşegül Toker, Dean of the Sabancı Business School, Sabancı University faculty member and Director of the Corporate Governance Forum Ozan Duygulu and the CDP Türkiye Country Director Mirhan Köroğlu Göğüş.

During the meeting, the development of the existing cooperation protocol between CDP Türkiye and KGK within the university framework was discussed. Participants noted that this cooperation provides a basis for strengthening interaction between academia, public institutions and the private sector, particularly in the fields of sustainability, reporting standards and education.

The discussions also focused on the role of human capital in the green and digital transition, the dissemination of education and sustainability reporting standards and supporting small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in adapting to this transformation. Through its work in sustainability and corporate reporting, and its multi-stakeholder collaborations, Sabancı University aims to continue engaging with public institutions and relevant stakeholders in the period ahead.
