On 31.01.2018, CDP launched The Investor Agenda alongside the global partners at the Investor Summit on Climate Risk in New York.

This new initiative calls on investors around the world to accelerate and scale up the actions that are critical to tackling climate change-related risks and opportunities in their portfolios, thereby helping to achieve the goals of the Paris Agreement. The Investor Agenda will provide actions which fall under four key focus areas:

• Investment
• Corporate Engagement
• Investor Disclosure
• Policy Advocacy

The agenda has been developed by Asia Investor Group on Climate Change, CDP, Ceres, Investor Group on Climate Change, Institutional Investors Group on Climate Change, Principles for Responsible Investment and UNEP Finance Initiative.

The formal launch of The Investor Agenda will take place in September 2018, with an update on the actions taken by investors following the Investor Summit on Climate Risk. CDP is proud to be part of this global initiative, which will ultimately help put us all on a path to keeping global temperature rises well below two degrees, as called for by the Paris Agreement.
