CDP Türkiye participated in the NDC Clinic held in Ankara on 12 August 2026 as part of the International Climate Initiative (IKI) Türkiye Workshop 2026.
Organized by the International Climate Initiative (IKI) Türkiye in cooperation with the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP), the event was held under the theme "Translating NDC Ambition into Investment: Financing the Transition." Bringing together representatives from public institutions, international financial institutions, development partners, the private sector, and technical experts, the event focused on how to translate Nationally Determined Commitments (NDCs) into tangible investments that accelerate climate action.
The programme featured high-level opening remarks on climate finance in Türkiye, a panel discussion titled "Financing Climate Action in Türkiye," and presentations highlighting national and international experiences in financing NDC implementation.During the afternoon session, participants joined thematic discussion tables addressing key topics, including the integration of climate risks into financial solutions, climate-related risks and opportunities for businesses, the decarbonization of high-emitting sectors, and investments supporting electrification and the clean energy transition.
CDP Türkiye Country Manager Mirhan Köroğlu Göğüş, moderated one of the thematic discussion tables, facilitating knowledge exchange and solution-oriented dialogue among representatives from the public sector, financial institutions, and the private sector.
