Organized by UN Global Compact Türkiye under the theme “Faster and Further”, the UN Global Compact Türkiye Summit brought together business leaders from Türkiye and Europe, along with representatives from the United Nations and civil society organizations. The Summit focused on how efforts to achieve a more just and more livable world by 2030 can be accelerated.

CDP Türkiye Country Director Mirhan Köroğlu Göğüş moderated the “Back to the Future” session. Together with the participants, the session sought to answer the question: “How would the narrative of institutions change if, instead of focusing on negative scenarios associated with climate change, we envisioned a positive future?” Discussions were carried out through a scenario set in the year 2040, and future-oriented pathways were evaluated.
