We are excited to announce the publication of the 2024 CDP Cities A List 

This year, nearly 1,000 cities reported their environmental data through CDP-ICLEI Track. Through this process, cities had the opportunity to manage their environmental impacts, build resilience, and strengthen their local economies.

A total of 112 cities from all continents earned a place on the 2024 A List for their leadership in environmental transparency and planet-friendly actions.

From Türkiye, Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality and Kadıköy Municipality made it onto the A List, proving their environmental leadership. Both municipalities stood out with concrete actions in combating climate change, sustainable urban planning, and nature-based solutions. This success once again highlights the importance of transparent reporting and effective environmental action at the local level.

Recognizing the crucial role of local and regional governments in building a positive future for the planet, CDP also publicly scored states and regions for the first time in 2024.
