The launch of the "Reporting Matters Türkiye 2023 Report", organized in collaboration between SKD Türkiye and PwC, took place on September 27, with the participation of representatives from leading institutions in reporting standards. During the panel session, CDP Türkiye Country Director Mirhan Köroğlu Göğüş highlighted CDP's evolving role in the sustainability reporting ecosystem.

In the panel titled "New Horizons in Sustainability Reporting: Transparency, Performance, and Impact," CDP Türkiye Country Director Mirhan Köroğlu Göğüş shared insights on the evolution of the reporting process and CDP's role in the transition to mandatory reporting. She also discussed how nature and biodiversity topics will be integrated into the reporting process in the near future.

The panel, moderated by ERTA Chair Prof. Dr. Güler Aras, included speakers such as Gülşah Günay, Head of Sustainability Standards at KGK, Mirhan Köroğlu Göğüş, CDP Türkiye Country Director, Ece Sevin, Climate Change and Sustainability Services Leader at EY Türkiye, Evren Sezer, Audit Services Partner at PwC Türkiye, Kubilay Kavak, General Manager of Escarus, and Şirin Soysal, Audit and Assurance Services Partner at KPMG.

The panel addressed legal regulations and national standards on sustainability reporting in Türkiye, and how companies can comply with these regulations. Additionally, speakers shared their views on the challenges companies face in setting sustainability targets and performance indicators, as well as on external audit practices.
