The second installment of the CDP Turkey Webinar series, titled "CDP's Role in the Transition to Mandatory Reporting: What Can Companies Expect?" took place on March 26, 2024.

During the webinar, Mirhan Köroğlu Göğüş, Country Programs Manager of CDP Turkey, discussed the transformation in the global reporting ecosystem, the transition from corporate climate change reporting to mandatory reporting, IFRS S1 and S2 Standards, Turkey's Sustainability Reporting Standards, European Sustainability Reporting Standards, and the current status of CDP's alignment with mandatory reporting frameworks. Subsequently, Bekir Çetin, Sustainability Leader at Semtrio, provided a detailed assessment of the relationship between IFRS S2 and CDP, as well as CDP's role in the transition to mandatory reporting that companies will face in the coming years.

The webinar concluded with Gülşah Günay, Head of the Sustainability Standards Department at the Public Oversight, Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority (KGK), discussing recent developments regarding Turkey's Sustainability Reporting Standards and a question-and-answer session.
